Aaron when you were born , I said you were my Birthday present since you were born 2 days before my birthday being 22 Nov.

Happy Birthday Aaron Atkins Suber! You would be 28 yrs old this year 2009. It is hard to believe that you crossed over to the other side 16 years ago . We love you and miss you bunches!! Love mom and Dad.

Handy Handbag Insert Pocket Organizers on my Ebay site Cougarnanna

Hello Friends and Family~

I just wanted to put a plug in about my Etsy Shop and my EBAY Shop. It's called Cougarnanna. Click [Here]. I've been making some really fantastic purse organizers and selling them on Ebay and Etsy Stores of mine. They are super cute and very helpful. They come in all sizes and patterns.

Recently, Caroline bought a purse that had absolutely no storage. It was a catch all for all her treasure junk. She got one and she loves it. It really helped her organize all her belongings in her purse. The great thing about these inserts is that they are removable and can be used for any purse of your choice, depending on size.

Check out the picture for an example of what is on both sites. I don't know how I lived without one of these before now! Here is one up for sale in my Ebay Store, take a peek. You won't want to live without one either!!

I had a friend visit us for three weeks last month. Caroline Hobbs Sanders a childhood friend from Bremen, Georgia where my sisters and myself grew up. It was fun having her out and to talk about us as children when we were growing up.
Here are some pictures taken while we were walking through the beautiful Bellevue Botanical Garden last week. We spent a week in a little cabin outside of LaConner, Washington. It was beautiful and peaceful that whole week. We were right on Pudget Sound water. We got to drive over to Deception Pass and view the beauty of that place . We were really in the boonies that week and I loved every minute of it! The last week we kept going to the local farmers markets and buying up fresh corn , potatoes and tomatoes. We ate our share of all those yummy veggies.

My sister Myra and Her Art Work!

My sister Myra has a wonderful talent in Art. When she attended the University of Georgia after high school graduation, she took art classes. I remember her having to go to the Zoo and other places and fill her blank art books up with drawings.

I have a few pieces of her art hanging in my home. I am very proud of my sister Myra and the beautiful paintings that she has painted through the years.
In her early years of painting,she painted in the basement of our MontClair Apartments in Decatur, Georgia. We had little storage units down there and she turned one of them into her little studio. She painted a very huge painting down there one summer and she showed it at the Piedmont Park Art Festival that summer. It was pretty exciting having my sister show some of her work. I still wonder how she got that huge painting on display in the park that summer.

The first picture is an oil painting that hung in our parents apartment in Decatur, Georgia. She painted it when I was in my teenage years. She painted three of these for family and friends. It is the painting of the Nun sitting on a piece of drift wood on the beach. I remember that there was a little story about this painting. After Myra had finished it our mother asked her to do something different to the seagulls. I think it had to do with painting the tips of their wings differently or something like that. The second picture is a recent water color that she did for me and gave it to me as a gift. I love her water colors.
Myra also has a love of painting and drawing Japanese Geisha girls. I have a favorite little oil painting that she did for me years and years ago of a Geisha Girl. It is my all time favorite. I will do a posting on that particular painting later on.

Spring Has Sprung in Bellevue, Washington

I wanted to show you my most favorite place in Bellevue where I live. Bellevue Botanical Garden is about a 10 minute drive from our house. Yon and I have been coming here for walks for 15 years. We come here year round. At Christmas time they decorate the whole garden with flowers that are made with special lights. It is so awesome in December.

We went for our first Spring Walk a couple of days ago. Here is what we saw on our walk. Everything is so pretty, blooming, and fragrance from the blossoms was ever present and wonderful. It was a beautiful and sunny day.

I added one other picture of a poinsetta Christmas Plant that we received from Aunt Eloise in South Carolina in December. Here it is May and it is still alive and showing its' red leaves. Never had one to stay alive this long.
